Iyengar Yoga (Registered) Level 1-2

Iyengar Yoga teaches you to take your awareness into areas of the body and revitalize them. We use a specific method of sequencing the postures that balances the body and mind. To experience your best version of the pose and develop concentration, we focus on alignment and precision in action. We also use props to make postures accessible and ideal for different body types.
Level 1-2: Relax and energize your body. Focus your mind through “meditation in action”. Continue to work on the basics and incorporate a greater variety of postures including backbends, shoulder stand and an introduction to headstand.
New session begins April 6. 10 class session.
