Iyengar Yoga (Registered) Level 1 – Beginners

Iyengar Yoga teaches you to take your awareness into areas of the body and revitalize them. We use a specific method of sequencing the postures that balances the body and mind. To experience your best version of the pose and develop concentration, we focus on alignment and precision in action. We also use props to make postures accessible and ideal for different body types.
Level 1: A beginner course for new students and practitioners who would like to develop a solid base. Working with the fundamentals, this class will address mobility, stability, strength and alignment. Students will learn how to access various poses based on where they are at.
